St-elevation myocardial infarction in a healthy 16-year-old adolescent: a clinical case

Background. Diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in pubertal patients is a diagnostic challenge, as individuals such young age usually do not have traditional risk factors for coronary heart disease (CHD) and, result, are at increased misdiagnosis. Objective. To describe clinical case AMI 16-yearold patient against the background complete well-being. Design and methods. A 16-year-old patient, well-being, developed pressing pains chest, which stopped on their own after few hours. During hospitalization, addition to an increase level troponin, results other laboratory instrumental studies did confirm version AMI, result cardiac non-cardiac causes development chest pain formed basis search.
